that elvis presley really knew how to sing about christmas in a way that makes me hip-shake. to honor his blue christmas concept, i wore all blue earlier this week when meeting friends for dinner and drinks. the result is right here.

not only is versatility a trait i admire in humans, but also in clothing. take the polka-dotted top in the above photo, for example: it is not only a tube top, but also transforms into a skirt! quite ideal for when you must pack many accessories into a tiny suitcase and somehow still need to fit some clothes in there too.

can anyone REALLY have a bad day while wearing pink tights? come on, try it and get back to me. i think i automatically walked around like a dancer all day because of them.

i told my momma about my blog idea of capturing various looks and she said it was self-indulgent and that i shouldn't be so vain. these were my own fears! however, i think it may be a bit of a generational thing, because i have gotten good feedback from friends. hm. well, here is an outfit from last week anyway. i adore using colorful accessories to make an entirely black outfit more fun.
